A square version of the cover of A closed and Common Orbit by Becky Chambers.
I first read a Becky Chambers book, the first book in her Wayfarers series back in 2022 during my reading challenge. I think it was the only book that year that I finished in one sitting. It was that good.

This book came out on the 16th of January, I started reading it on the 17th and was done by the 18th. I just absolutely devoured this book. It was entirely possible that I could have finished the book on the 17th if I had not stopped myself from continuing.

I think I first put this book in my wishlist sometime last year after I saw cari of the cari can read channel mention it in one of her monthly book list videos (I forget which). I saw it mentioned again in Cindy’s My Best Books of 2023video a week or so ago and decided it was time to actually pick it up, especially after the quote Cindy read in her video.

First book of the year and the first book review of the year! I bought this book back in November 2023 when I saw it on sale on the Kobo ebook store along with a bunch of other books that were also on sale. I glad I finally got around to reading this one. Let’s get into it.
This is the first time I’ve reviewed an entire trilogy of books but since I read all three of these in the same month one after the other I think it makes sense. I’ve read V. E. Schwab’s work before, namely I read her book Vicious as the first book of my 2022 reading challenge.
